Office Development
St. James’s Gate
Dublin 8

The proposed commercial development adopts a sensitive approach to the retention and extension of a protected structure and existing office building on the corner of Crane Street and Thomas Street. This six storey development will hold a prominent position within the approach from the city and will be established as one of the major entrances to the Guinness Quarter. A large vaulted opening celebrates the innovative and intrinsic industrial character of its surrounding and provides access to the internal courtyards and greater development beyond. The use of slurry rendered brickwork to the external elevations, incorporating sections of the facade set in relief, maintains a deferential and meaningful connection to the local vernacular.
