ODAA were appointed to oversee a total refurbishment of the existing premises on Dawson St, Dublin 2, where the clients brief called for a contemporary, refined aesthetic reflecting both their brand and the buildings fabric. Internally the materials are tactile and have been selected to give a subtle contrast in both colour and finish. The walls are clad using hand-made Terracotta tiles laid in a vertical bond with a mixture of stone and terrazzo on the floors, countertops and splash backs. This simple palette is juxtaposed against a black-stained timber lattice ceiling designed to hide all overhead services.
