Our client’s brief called for the development of a new family home on a steeply sloping residential site off Cunningham Road in Dalkey Co. Dublin. Elements of an existing dwelling are to be retained with the addition of two new storeys to replace the existing roof structure, utilising the latent potential offered by the typography of the site. When complete, all main living and bedroom accommodation will enjoy views of the surrounding areas and a new vertical circulation core positioned in the centre of the plan, will link all floors over four levels.
